I've used a stamp and die cut from MFT, coloured with Copics and fussy cut her dress.
I did not intend to use yellow when I coloured this image but after pulling out some stencils and Distress Oxide inks the colour  just seemed to fit.   Square and sunray stencil are also from MFT.

Hello, hope your weekend is going well.

I've not been in a crafty mood these last few weeks and apologize for not visiting. My mojo left and I've no idea where it has gone. I have a list of cards that need to be made and have been procrastinating which is not unusual.  I do hope I get out of this slump soon.   

It's been snowing here for the last couple of days...everything looks so pretty covered in white.  With Valentines and my birthday coming up there should be some flowers arriving soon which is sure to make me smile. I do love having fresh bouquets around the house....and yes, hubby has been well trained...bless him.

now on to business...We are starting a new challenge at

I've used a MFT die to create these runners.  I know this card will be perfect for one of my granddaughters.   The sentiment stamp is from MFT as well as the background stamp.

*** Winter Wonderland Tribute Challenge ***

Hello, hope you are all well.  

We had a lovely day yesterday with an outdoor visit with our granddaughters.    We took a walk along the lake shore and were fortunate to see the Snowy Owl that has taken up residence along the break wall. So exciting to see and he is gorgeous.

Hello friends,

Hope you are all well and coping.  We are still in lockdown making it a very long winter. But there is hope...yesterday was Ground Hog Day and Wiarton Willie the famous Canadian groundhog did appear and saw his shadow, which legend has it means we will have an early spring here in Ontario. I just hope he was wearing a face mask..what with all the camera's around...lol

I have coloured with Copics and Faber Polychromos Pencils a new stamp for me from MFT
called Magnolia Blossoms. I waited for a sale and am so happy with my purchase.   The sentiment is an old stamp from the Inkadinkado set Nature & Floral.  I've stamped the image and sentiment with Memento London Fog. It gives a softer look than using black I think.

Today starts a new challenge at

"Sweet Stampin Challenge"

where we have the theme of "Thank You"

I've pulled out some oldies but goodies. I've had these dies and rubber stamps for many years and still love the elegant look they add to cards.  

I used glossy gold cardstock for the background and stamped Spellbinder Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty stamp with versamark, added gold embossing powder before heat embossing.  This stamp set uses the Spellbinder Labels Twenty die which I used to cut out the label.  I stamped the sentiment with dark grey ink.  Ribbon is from my stash.   The Spellbinder die used for the background is Tapestry.

Hello friends,

Hope you all ok and safe.  So hard to believe Christmas is only a few days away.

Weather man has promised a bit of snow on the 24th....will be nice if it stays around

for the big day.

I've a card to show you that I made for a special family.

The dies are all from MFT.  Animals have been coloured with copics.

I added acetate to the window then created a night sky with a tree branch just outside.

I stenciled the fireplace with a stencil from MFT and oxide ink.

Bow made with twine then red rhinestones added.

The floor was embossed using a SU wood grain folder.

Hello folks,

Today I have a card for the new challenge at

Sweet Stampin

where we have the theme of "Last Minute Christmas"

Now this was a test for me...yes I am always last minute but instead of taking hours to create, this gem was made in less than 15 minutes!  It took longer for me to decide what I was going to do.  I've cut the tree using a very old Spellbinder die that might just be given a little more love.

SU sentiment stamped with versamark then embossed with gold embossing powder.
Cut out using the coordinating die.  Background embossed with SU softly falling folder
The photo doesn't do justice.. the gold is very shiny which looks great against the black.

called  Singin Robin for this card.  I added prismacolour pencil  and diamond stickles.

 Hello everyone,

First weekend in December coming up ...hard to believe that time can pass by so quickly when you are shut in!   I'm still working on Christmas cards (need to complete the insides)  but might actually get them mailed before the end of next week!

Today starts a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where we have an "Anything Goes Christmas" theme. No sponsor this month and team have been given the month off so no commenting but there will still be a Top 3 and as a special treat there will be a GDT spot awarded.

I've created a card using Poppy Stamps Pop Up Easel die set.  I've not used the easel from the set as I find it too small.  Instead I made my own easel for this 5 x 6 1/2" card.

The beige you see is actually a matte gold paper. I've put acetate in the windows, gold gem for the door knob.  MB trees cut in white sparkle paper and set behind the window.

The sleigh is a MB die, as well as the Merry Christmas sentiment.

Quite a lot of work to this one....and no colouring but I was happy with the outcome.
