Pink Birthday

Hi everyone,
I do hope you had a good weekend.
Can't believe the spare time I have now that the Olympics are over.
What fun it's been cheering on our athletes. Almost lost my voice during the hockey games.

Today I'd like to show you the card I made for my daughters birthday.

The shape is a Spellbinder Grand Scallop Square.  The pink layer was added using 3D dots. I then cut and embossed two SB Gold Elements One dies and joined them together before adding to the pink layer.   Recollections string pearls are self adhesive so they are great to work with.  The medallion from SB Gold Elements One was cut, embossed and added with 3D dots as well. All the paper is from Papertrey Ink as well as the matching ribbon for the bow.   I added pearls and a silver heart to the stick pin.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by. Have a good week.

Spring at TPC

Hi everyone,
It's time for a new challenge at
and the theme chosen by our fabulous Lisa is Spring.

I saw this cutie pop up lately on a few of the talented blogs I follow and decided it was time I tried my hand at colouring her.  I bought her last year and sadly this is the first time she has been inked.  She is a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with Tulips.
I added a beautiful Birthday Circle from Crafty Sentiment Designs, our sponsor this week.

I kept this card fairly simple...tried adding flowers but in the end wanted the doily to be prominent.
and yes.......... I am hoarding my flowers :)

Here are some Details:
Coloured with Copics
MS Punch-around-the-page Cherish
Graphic 45 DP
Doily - Bo Bunny
Ribbon - Stamp Simply Ribbon Store

Sentiment Circle - Crafty Sentiment Designs

Adorable!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I've been a bad blogger lately.
I hope you are all well and safe in the horrible weather we've had around the globe recently.

I celebrated a birthday on Saturday and what a wonderful day it was.
I truly am blessed with the best husband, family and friends.
....and I unwrapped lots of crafting goodies so you might see some soon.

Unfortunately I lost internet connection yesterday and since it was Family Day the stores were closed and I couldn't get the part I needed until today.   I made my way thru all the snow we received  overnight and finally got things up and running again this morning!
...crazy how dependent we are on technology!

I couldn't wait to share the card my oldest Granddaughter (age 11) made for me.
She drew the image by hand and coloured it with the Copics I had given her for Christmas.
I am sooo proud of my ubber talented little "jellybean".

I will enter this into MIM Challenge #179

Thank you so much for stopping by,
hugs,

Kisses

Hi everyone,

I hope you've had a good week so far. Sorry I haven't been around to visit you all but I've been preoccupied with the Olympics this week and have sadly neglected my blog.
My plan is to visit you all later today.

Now on to business...it's Wednesday and that means a new Challenge at
Our lovely Dawn has chosen this week's theme
 Love/Valentine

Here is my response to the challenge with a clean but not-so-simple design.
I spent more time doing this card than if there were several layers but am finally happy with the results.  It was a little tricky adding the digital sentiment placed just right after it was coloured...a little planning beforehand wouldn't have gone amiss.

We have the fabulous Paper Shelter sponsoring us this week.
There is a great prize for the winner so I do hope you can play along.

I've use the very cute digi called Kisses that can be found here.

Card Details:
6x6"square
Coloured with Copics
SB Curved Borders Two
Sentiment from TLC

Hi everyone,

Well Mother Nature is giving it to us again today with another blizzard and 20 cm of snow predicted.
