*** A little embossing ****

 Hi folks,

Hope all is well with you.   I have been feeling poorly for the past month but finaly am beginning to see the light. Slowly but surely I will be back to my old self.  With the weather warming up I am happy to be able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.  I even got to bring the patio back to life with new plants and greenery. My favourite annual is blue lobelia which I think is a show stopper when in full bloom.

"Stencil or Embossing Folder"

I have used an embossing folder and a technique that I'm not sure I've done credit to.  Turning the embossed figure to the back side and running a distressed ink pad in Spun Sugar over it.  This card came together very quickly ..adding a few gems for interest.

**** Colours ****

 Hi Folks,

Time for a new challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #636

"Use Colours, Pink, Blue or Yellow"

I chose to use a little of all the colours.  The background paper is
 actually a prettier pink than photo shows.  Dies are Memory Box, 

colouring Ranger Distress Oxide Ink

I have a fun weekend ahead.  We are taking an overnight trip to Niagara-On-The-Lake, with dinner booked by the kids at a highly rated restaurant called "Pearl Morisset."  (farm to table ..might be some rhubarb on the menu....wouldn't that be wonderful).  There will be 6 of us so should be a fun time.

**** Christmas in April ****

How are you all doing?  

Spring has arrived in my part of the world.

Sentiment is from a sticker pack that was a gift from a dear friend.

Rainy day here today but the temperatures are above freezing

 which is making it feel very spring like. This little guy is well prepared for the downpour.

 where I am the host chosing a theme of "Dies or Punches"

I have used several dies from Birch Press on this card that I made for my Son in Laws birthday.        The family recently had the priviledge of watching a pod of female beluga whales and their calves swimming alongside the fishing boat they were on so I thought he would enjoy this card.

I had a very large numbered birthday this weekend with the celebrations still going on.  

I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband, family and friends...reminding me it's only a number.

 Hi folks,

I have used an MFT sentiment stamp on this card.  Dies used are Birch Press

We are still in a deep freeze here. 
So appreciative of the hard work the snow removal crews do,
 working around the clock to get our streets and sidewalks cleared.

There are videos of snowplows working in tandem on the highways  

....so impressive .Canada sure knows how to handle winter.

**** Going round in Circles ****

 Hi folks,

Time for a new challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #629

with a theme of "Going Round in Circles"..Hosted by our lovely Pat.

I have created a circle easel card.

The cardstock is different shades of pink. 

We are well into frosty January.  Snow on the ground, large flocks of geese gathering near the shores, taking off in formation calling out and announcing their efforts at keeping warm. Unfortunately this is usually in the wee hours of the morning.
