Sweet Music

Hello lovely bloggers,

Tonight I have a quick CAS card for you.   I've used a free digital from ADFD that is offered if you participate in their current challenge, which is my intent.

Now my little fella is not really a bluebird but he thinks he is :)
I stamped white paper with an Impression Obsession cover-a-card background stamp called music and then cut 2 of the larges SB poinsettia die, distressed the edges and shaped the leaves a little for interest.   I dry embossed the white panel with CB music folder, stitched around the edge....and this is the finished product....

Will also be entering this card into MIM Challenge #108

Thanks for stopping by and your lovely comments are always appreciated.

Good day all,

Another gorgeous fall day out, perfect for the Terry Fox run/walk that passes my house about this time every year.  All of the students and staff from the local High School participate.   You can hear them coming before you see them....all talking and having a good time.  I'm always impressed how respectful they are but must admit, I appreciate when it's over .....back to my peace and quiet :)

For my card share today I've made an easel card using a very cute image from Mo Manning called "Talk to the Bear".  Isn't she just the best !    The lattice ribbon is a gift from a might be seeing a lot more of it in future:)   I laced pink ribbon thru the openings and then added some teddy bear ribbon on top.  The sentiment is a freebie from Ginger's House.  The white panel has been embossed with SU Square Lattice folder.

Here is closeup:

I would like to enter into the following challenges:

Creative Belli Challenge #153 - Sports

Good day everyone,

Brrrrr, it's been cold here the past few days, especially in the morning.
Our poor old dog does not venture out of her bed for hours.....
only gets up to go outside when it's absolutely necessary!
And that's how I feel some mornings too :D

Enough of my chatter....time to let you know the theme we have for the new challenge at the
 Belli Challenge is "Sports".
Remember, we would like to see your old or forgotten items on your creation.

This time I've created an easel card using a cute image from Bugaboo. I found some very old Magic Mesh and was so surprised it was still sticky....after all these years!   I also used a metal clip from my stash....think it was from Making Memories.   The dp is a Karen Foster 6x6 pad called Sports, sentiment is computer generated.  The tickets are cut from the same paper pad. I used an old Quickutz die to cut the #4 for his jersey.

Fab n Funky Challenge #138

Hi Folks,
I'm back again with my second post for the day!
This time I would like to show you what I've created for
Our hostess is the lovely, talented Vicky and she has set the theme as
 "Harvest Festival".

Our sponsor this week is Digi Doodle Shop, who are offering a $10. prize
to spend in their shop.

For my card share, I've used a digi from the Fall Harvest set.  The Niagara Region in Southern Ontario is well know for it's vineyards and produces many award winning wines.  I coloured this beautiful bunch of grapes to represent the Riesling of our favourite whites.   This grape is also used in making Ice Wine.  The grapes are left on the vine to freeze and picking time is crucial.  The result is a delicious, sweet dessert wine.

Inside view:
Copics used:
Spellbinders Layered Elegant Swirl
inside: Spellbinders Decorative Labels One
TH Vintage Photo distressed ink
Ticket is from a Whimsy Stamp set, called Holiday Ticket Sentiments
I used the blank stamp and created the sentiment in word.
I align the stamp with the sentiment using my Stamp-a-ma-jig

Creative Belli Challenge #152 - Fall

Good morning everyone,

I hope this finds you well.  Yesterday my friend Carol and I spent the morning browsing thru our local scrapbook store, which unfortunately is closing. When everything is 40% off it takes alot of willpower.  I did not feed my paper obsession!  New dies on the other hand, well that's another issue :D
It's time for a new Challenge at the Belli Challenge
The theme, chosen by the owner, Darsie,  is Fall.

I've used a Saturated Canary image called Cornelia to make a "Magic Card".  I followed the great tutorial for Marianne Skjelstad's Magic card  here on Tracy's blog.  The flowers are my "something old"....they've been in my stash for a very long time, along with the punches.

Martha Stewart punches used around the edges. The leaves are also MS, punched out of cork.  SB Romantic Rectangles used on the inside.  Autumn Blessing stamp - Cornish Heritage Farms (another oldie), mounted on cork again.
We would love it if you joined us at the Creative Belli Challenge this time.
Entering the following challenges:
Challenges 4 Everyone #2 - Anything Goes
Come and Get it Challenges - Tic Tac Toe  (die cuts, free, punches)
Send a Smile 4 Kids - Fall or Halloween
