Hello folks,

Today starts a new challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #552

hosted by our awesome team mate Chris who has chosen the theme of

"Anything but Square"

I have created a slimline card using papers from Whimsy Stamps. 

Numbers cut using my very old QuiKutz number dies and finished off with a bow that I have been hoarding...not sure where it came from now.

*** Fairytales ****

Good morning all,

Happy Victoria Day long weekend for those of you who are celebrating.
Great spring weather here...sunshine with the occasional shower to keep everything green.
Busy weekend planned setting up the patio and it just might be warm enough to do some planting.

Sweet Stampin Challenge

with a theme of  Inspired by a Fairytale

I've created my card with a Cinderella theme using an old but much loved image by Sassy Cheryl.  This is the pre-coloured version that I have touched up with a little polychromos.   The stamp is from the "Balloon Bundle" at MFT Stamps. Striped paper is also from MFT.

Today starts a new challenge at

"Fantasy"

Had some fun with this one....love this digi called Tempest of Ice from Stamps by Aurora Wings. I couldn't resist having a go at colouring with Copics and pencils.  I created a night sky using blue ink and splashed a little white using a toothbrush. Simple frame to complete the scene.

Sun was shining all weekend for Mother's Day but winds were still very cold.
I had a wonderful time being celebrated by my lovely children and grandchildren.
