Christmas..Boy and His Dog

Hi everyone,

Blooming at TPS

Hi everyone,

I'm back as promised, this time to tell you about the new challenge starting today at

The Paper Shelter

The theme this week is Blooming and I couldn't resist colouring up one of the new images

called Peaceful Easter available here.

Coloured with Copics

I cut the eggs using MB Classic Egg die, ran them thru my Xyron so that

the right side was sticky. I then added Stampendous Crystal Snow Ultra Fine glitter

in white. The top layer was cut using MB Filagree Egg.

Bottom floral border is MB Summer Border

The bunnies were cut using a Martha Stewart punch and glitter added

in the same way as the eggs.

A different kinda Transport

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a good weekend.

Sorry I've not been around much ....not enough hours in the day it seems

but things have settled down so I should be around to visit you all soon.

I'm enjoying my GDT spot at Cardz 4 Guyz and have a card to show you

for the latest challenge which is

"Transport"

I thought I would do something a little different

and used this digi from JustInkLined called Paint this Wagon available here.

It took some time to colour this up. Copics used as always.

The paper is from October Afternoon, Sasparilla

I added grommets and brads to the linen swatch and finished it off with twine.

Love at First Sight....

Hi everyone,

I've been up to my old tricks of purchasing and printing off digi stamps

but this time I intend to colour all of them! I need to get down to

business as Spring cleaning is right around the corner and that

leaves no time for crafting.

I found this adorable image by Lynne Stansbery at Sweet Pea Stamps

called Devotion...available here.

I'm thrilled as to how this turned out. Colouring animals is difficult for me but practice does help.

I kept the design fairly simple as I wanted the image to take center stage

....and I do love the sentiment which comes with the image.

We are a family of dog lovers so I'm sure this card will find a home....if I can part with it.

Hobbies at Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a good weekend and that the sun was shining where you are.
It was time to turn our clocks forward on Sunday and everyone is scrambling to
find that lost hour. Hard to wake up in the morning when it was still dark outside.

I have a card for you today as I continue my GDT spot at

Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge

The theme for Challenge #61 is "Hobbies".

I've used a decoupage sheet from La Pashe that is perfect for my hubby.

He spent a lot of time in his youth perfecting his game

and still enjoys giving the young ones a run for their money.

A very easy card to put together. I pulled out a very old stack of dp and layered
the image, adding brass brads to the sentiment.
