I've used Butterfly Baby on my card today.  Must confess, I have a folder full of SC images but was missing this cutie so I jumped at the chance to get her for this challenge.  Thank you Krista!  She is now my all time favourite baby image - fabulous for a 1st Birthday!

Dream Big

Today starts a new challenge at the 

Belli Challenge

and the theme is

Black/Red/White

I've used a wonderful digi from Delicious Doodles called Zebra and Foal that can be found here
and lightly coloured the image with Copics C1, C1, C00, B00, B000, E50, E53.

At the Belli Challenge you are encouraged to use your old and forgotten items

so I pulled out my WRMK flower patch felt flowers from a few years ago,

added some gingham brads from my stash, 

stamped a sentiment from MFT Big Greetings set, 

did a bit of stitching and here you have it!

 For the inside, I reduced the image and printed it on the bottom corner as you can see in the following photo.

Ballerina

Good day bloggers, I hope you've had a good weekend.
We're looking forward to watching the Oscars tonight but first
we will celebrate our beautiful daughter's birthday!

Here is the card I made her using Ballerina 2 by Morgan Fitzsimons that you can find here. As many of you might know, Allie danced for many years so I think she will love this image. 

I've planned a special dinner that will be done early.  We must watch the red carpet as it's a favourite with the girls!  I've not seen all the films this year but did manage to catch Argo last night and was impressed....one talented hottie that Ben:)

Birthday Fairy

Good morning all and welcome to another blog post.

I'm back from a long weekend - what a wonderful way to break up the winter.

 It was a 4 day birthday celebration for me as well.  Fun times with family and friends - I am truly blessed.

On to today's creation.   This is the card I sent to my twin sister. She has moved across country and I miss her soooo much.   I thought this image would give her a chuckle....the dreaded birthday fairy is back!

She is of course a Mo Manning digi.  Sorry the pic is a little fuzzy....kinda like me this morning!

In the Harbour

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog post for

Delicious Doodles Challenge #23

I'm back to a CAS design for this one. The digi is called "In the Harbour" and it can be found here.

I tore a piece of watercolour paper and added some muslin for more texture.

Sentiment is a clear stamp from Flourishes, cut with SB Tag, seam binding added to the ends.

What's Inside - Fab'n'Funky Challenge #158

We've a fun challenge for you this week at

I've used a sweet image, generously given to us by Stamp Fairy and she is called Molly Balloons.

And I've put a surprise inside!

Molly is on the inside as well, but this time she's standing.

I used pink honeycomb paper from Inky Antics to make the balloon. 

 I cut a half circle and attached it so that when you open the card it pops open. 

 Twine was attached to the bottom then strung to Molly's hand. 

The sentiment is an old QuicKutz die and the border is Spellbinders Parisian Accents

This is the first time I've coloured this sweet digi...she was hiding in my cyber vault and her name is
Wryn - Grow a Little Love and she can be found at Tiddly Inks. 

I started with the sketch at Sketch n Stash this week and tweaked it a bit.

The felt hearts, crocheted flowers and heart pearls are all from my stash.  I bought them last year but never used them.   So glad I have this challenge to help me clear out:)

Year of the Snake

Good evening all and welcome to another blog post.
We're expecting "snowmageddon" tonight (to quote my daughter) so the girls are preparing for a "snow day" tomorrow.  Great fun when all the neighborhood kids come out to play and enjoy the snow.  

Here is a gate fold Chinese New Year card that I created for a dear lady that has worked with my husband for years.  During the New Year celebrations she turns the office into a feast, bringing in new and wonderful delicacies daily for everyone to enjoy during this special holiday.  

The serpent on the front is a request I made to Teri of Delicious Doodles and it can be found here.  I was so excited when I saw what she had drawn and thought it was perfect for a Chinese greeting inside.

The serpent really is not pink....it's Chinese red irl...must be something with my camera again...hehe!  I used gold Smooch to give him some bling.  Gold mirror card for backing, corners and SB Marvelous squares. Coloured with Copics.
