Cute as a Bunny

Hello everyone,
I hope your weekend is going well and you have some sunshine today.

Just a quick card I made this morning.  I saw they had this adorable image on sale at ADFD and couldn't resist. I love bunnies, yes, even when they get into the garden!  Had a look around the yard today and oh yes....they've been a munchin!    I guess they're getting their Easter treats early!
Here he is.......CAS for me and I hope I did him justice.

This week the theme is Easter....great time to enter those last-minute Easter cards.

I've used a cute image by the very talented Krista Smith of Saturated Canary called
 Lily, Bo and Peep
All the papers for this easel card are from my stash and most of the dies only come out at Easter.
This is my first attempt at creating a cloud sky using my Copics.  I was inspired by watching Alyce's fabulous video that you can find here.   I still have a long way to go but enjoyed giving it a try. I punched the bunnies, ran them thru my Xyron and then added glitter for a little bling.

A Special Birthday Card

Good morning all.
Yeah...the weekend is almost here. I hope you have something fun planned.

I needed to make a birthday card for a fabulous gal who really epitomizes the saying "70 is the new 50" !  She is a very successful business woman, award winning cross-stitcher and wonderful friend to all who know her.    No pressure here right....I had to bring my A game for this one!

First time using my new Marianne Anja die (had it for several weeks now) and I love how delicate it looks. Once around with the Dyson was needed after cutting this out....so much confetti on the craft room floor....but well worth the effort.

It's been a pleasure creating with Teri's gorgeous artwork.

Good morning everyone and a warm welcome to my new followers.

Guest Designer - Digital Delights Challenge

Hello again. I'm back with another card for today.

A few weeks ago my entry into the Digital Delights Challenge won 1st prize
and I'm so excited to say that I'm their
Guest Designer today!  Woo hoo... you can find the link here.
Thank you so much for having me!

For my card I chose the very cute digi from the "Color my World Set" ......couldn't resist that hair and the skirt is a colouring challenge as well!

I wanted to create the look of many colours ...like a box of crayons, so I chose stripes.  I cut four 1/2 inch strips and mitred the corners.  The front panel is embossed with SU Square Lattice folder. Image cut using SB Hexacon die and machine stitched.   I printed the sentiment, that comes in the set, on yellow paper, coloured the outside in black marker then hand cut and mounted it for dimension.  The sunflower is from my stash....a dollar store find I believe. Black ribbon from Michaels.

I will be entering the following challenge:
MIM #130
Created with Love Challenge #31 - Anything Goes
My Grafico Challenge #146 - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime Ch#5 - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.

Bugaboo at Fab'n'Funky

Good morning all.  I hope your week is going well!
I'd like to extend a warm welcome to my new followers. I'm honoured that you've chosen to join me and I hope you find something that perhaps will inspire you in some small way.

Today starts a new challenge at
and we are sponsored by the wonderful
and

It's our fabulous, multi talented, super busy owner, Judith's turn to host this week and she has chosen
Cute and Cuddly as the theme.

We were fortunate enough to select a stamp of our choice from Bugaboo and I chose Ava Mermaid.  Two of our granddaughters are off to Florida this week for March Break and one will be celebrating her 10th birthday there so I thought she might like this card.  This is not the shape I had originally planned but I went back to my favourite 6x6 square card.   I used Alyce's tutorial that can be found here to help when it came to colouring Ava's tail!    Spellbinder ovals and Back to Basics Tags, MB Big Splash Border, along with CB Divine Swirl embossing folder were all used on this card.  The rosettes are from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  To colour the cheesecloth, I stamped TH Evergreen Bough Distressed Ink on my TH craft sheet, spritzed it with water to dilute and then added the cheesecloth....let dry and there you have it...perfectly coloured to match my SU Bermuda Bay cardstock.

I hope you have a chance to check out the challenge, see the wonderful creations my team mates have made and play along with us if you can.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
 Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Through the Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
Created with Love Challenge #31 - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime ch#5 - Anything Goes
Catch the Bug Challenge - Anything Goes
MIM #130

Daffodils and Butterfly

Good morning to you all and a very   Happy St. David's Day !

I was so happy to see that my lovely team mates at

had chosen Yellow for St.David's Day as the theme for this week.
My wonderful, maternal Grandmother was born and raised in North Wales and I fondly remember stories she would tell my Sister and I of how beautiful "home" was.    We often talked of visiting...perhaps one day!

I've used a new digi called Daffodils and Butterfly on my card today and it can be found here.
The frame digital images that Teri creates are fabulous.
Even I, the sometimes technically challenged crafter, can easily add sentiments inside the frame before printing!
So pleased with myself and the way this card turned out...can you tell :)

Details:
Coloured with Copics
I printed the image twice, coloured one completely and the 2nd image was used to mount for a decoupage effect.  I created a frame with the yellow cardstock so the silver beads would fit snuggly inside.  You cannot see in the photo but the layer underneath the image is a light silver gray vellum with a pale yellow rose pattern.  Silver beads on a string from Michaels as well as the ribbon.

I intend to enter the following challenges:
LEJ Designs Challenge - For a Lovely Lady
Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #85 - Blooming image
Stamp & Create Challenge - Spring is Coming
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge - Add a Sentiment
Sentimental Sundays - Flowers
