It's the second week of August..and the summer is going by so quickly.
We finally had a good downpour yesterday which was welcomed by the grass and gardens. 
 It's been so hot and dry I'm not going to complain.

*** Father's Day / Masculine ***

 Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.

Happy Father's Day weekend.  
Hubby had a fall last weekend so will be sporting two black eyes for the big day 

but all is well.   No broken bones which we are so thankful for.  CTScan at emergency showed no damage...so again, very lucky.  Stitches out on Tuesday so I'm sure he will be back to playing snooker soon. It's been nice having him home during the day, my routine can wait.

Happy Victoria Day long weekend for those of you who are celebrating.
Great spring weather here...sunshine with the occasional shower to keep everything green.
Busy weekend planned setting up the patio and it just might be warm enough to do some planting.

Had some fun with this one....love this digi called Tempest of Ice from Stamps by Aurora Wings. I couldn't resist having a go at colouring with Copics and pencils.  I created a night sky using blue ink and splashed a little white using a toothbrush. Simple frame to complete the scene.

I did have trouble with this one 
then I thought of a pre-coloured Mo's digital Pencil image
 and decided to make her work on this slimline card.

I was thinking she is waving the rose...and the sentiment came to mind.

It's a beautiful sunny day as I write this post.  
We had a lovely visit with our oldest granddaughter who recently celebrated her 20th birthday.

She just completed her 2nd year at Uni and is taking a week off before starting her summer job.
