I first saw this little treat box on a follower's blog. Thank you Anne :)

My little Christmas treat box is made using a Spellbinder die. 
 Lots of cutting but very easy to assemble. 
 I plan on making a lot of these and filling with treats for Christmas.

***Monochromatic at Fab'n'Funky***

 Hello friends,

Hope you are doing well. 
Very hot and humid here ...great time to sit by the pool with a beverage or two.

I have coloured with Copics and a little Polychromatic pencil this digital image by Mariola Budek. 
 I became aware of this artist by one of the lovely ladies I follow.

I am critical of my work and next time I would colour this magnificent horse differently.
oh well...

Image matted on dark brown then gold.  The next layer was embossed with a StampinUp folder, matted on dark brown again on a white card.  Simple layout for this intricate image.

*** Grad ***

 Good day everyone.

Hope you are doing ok.  We are having some steamy weather with rain in the forecast
but it hasn't stopped me from lining up to visit my favourite stores now that the region is in Phase 3.

We still have not been to any restaurants but that is on our list.  It has been wonderful getting together with family and friends though ...almost feels normal.

 I made for this for our Granddaugher who is going off to study

 Engineering at University in September.

Hi folks,

Thunderstorms as I schedule this post.  No complaints though because we really need the rain.

For my card I've gone back to a much loved style that is not very trendy but still one I like.
and I know you are probably thinking I've lost the plot putting a ribbon on a masculine card.  
Well.. it is supposed to represent a bowtie as this card is going to a very dapper fellow.

 

The papers are from an old collection, number buttons are Tim Holtz. Sentiment die is a Sue Wilson.

What a gorgeous weekend we are having.  High of 28 with sunny skies.

where our lovely team leader Wendy has given us a Masculine theme

I've coloured with Copics a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil. 
The sentiment, stamped in Memento Black Ink, is from a free set by Simon Says Stamp.
  I masked the image and stenciled the MFT brick background with Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Antique Linen...looking a little more yellow than I expected.
