***Monochromatic at Fab'n'Funky***

 Hello friends,

Hope you are doing well.
Very hot and humid here ...great time to sit by the pool with a beverage or two.

Today starts a new challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #533

hosted by our fabulous team mate Chris who has chosen the theme

"Monochrome"

I have coloured with Copics and a little Polychromatic pencil this digital image by Mariola Budek.
I became aware of this artist by one of the lovely ladies I follow.
 Thank you Diane x

I am critical of my work and next time I would colour this magnificent horse differently.
oh well...

Image matted on dark brown then gold.  The next layer was embossed with a StampinUp folder, matted on dark brown again on a white card.  Simple layout for this intricate image.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #52 - 7.25
Crafting Happiness Challenge #105 - 7.23
Corrosive Challenge - July
Creative Fingers Challenge #121 - July
Lemon Shortbread Challenge #149 - 7.26
Through The Craft Room Door - 7.27

Thanks for visiting today.

I hope you can play along with us this week.

hugs,

Pat K xx

Year of the Horse

Good day everyone and Happy Chinese New Year!

I've a card to show you today that I made for someone very special. I hope she likes it.

As 2014 is the Year of the Horse the MB Trotting Pony die came in very handy.

I've kept with traditional red and gold and used pop dots under SB Splendid Circle dies.

DP is Graphic 45 Songbird collection

For the inside I used the largest die from SB Marvelous Squares and computer generated the sentiment.

TH Firebrick Red and Mustard Seed Distressed ink used on the panel

The Paper Lanterns are a Memory Box die as well.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

4 Crafty Chicks #179 - Anything Goes

Cardz for Guyz - Chinese New Year

Try it on Tuesday - Celebration

MIM #176
Crafts 4 Eternity #161 - Oriental

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by today.

hugs,

Pat K xx
