Skating ....

Good day everyone and Happy New Year!
Wow...my last post of 2012...where did the year go?
What fun it has been for me in blogland. I have met and been inspired by soooo many talented crafters - thank you all for being there.  A big Thank You also to my followers.  I appreciate the time you have taken to comment and your kind words are always so helpful.   I am honoured and hope that in some small way I have inspired you.

The card I'd like to share with you today is a step centre birthday card.  I used a Saturated Canary digi called Nikki.   I couldn't resist buying this one to add to my collection :)

I tried out my new Tim Holtz Tattered Pinecone die and cut it in Kraft.  I cut 2 of the TH Pine Tree dies using TH Kraft Resist paper, sponged them with TH Distressed Ink - Walnut.  I cut 2 more pine trees, this time in white and positioned them behind the kraft ones to give them a look of snow.   I used MS snowflake punch around the middle panel, recycled the stars and added stickles to the centre.

Memory Box Frostyville Border die used on the bottom.  The reindeer was purchased last year from WOC as well as the burgundy flower and seam binding.   Tag is a Spellbinders Back to Basics.
Sorry, I did not make note of the Copics but the I know the burgundy was R89, R85 with a bit of R56

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Monthly Challenge - Celebration
Card Mania - CMC#11 Winter Wonderland
Paper Pretties #72 - Winter creation
Tammy's Scrapin Corner - #43 Step Centre Challenge
Whoopsi Daisy Challenge - Celebrate
The Kraft Journal -  #31 Something New ( TH pinecone die)

Thanks so much for dropping by and I wish you all a Happy New Year.
Hugs,

Vintage Blue

Good morning,
Another Christmas card for you today.

I've used an ADFD image called "To Grammy's House".
Love the vintage feel of this image and thought it would be perfect in blue.
DP is from a Recollections pack I found at Michaels on sale.
It has a gloss to it with silver embossed snowflakes....quite pretty irl.
Tim Holtz On the Edge die..snow flurries with star dust stickles.
Snowflake is an old cuttlebug and MS punch. The tree is a Marianne Designs

 Entering the following challenges:
ADFD Challenge #59 - Shades of Blue
Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Christmas with non-traditonal colours

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Hugs,

Belli Challenge #155

Good morning all,
The theme for Challenge #155 at the Belli Challenge is Halloween.
For my card share I've used an adorable Elizabeth Bell stamp from
Belles n Whistles called Little Witch with Broom.
I've had this stamp for a couple of years and it remains a favourite for Halloween.
Here is the front panel of my easel card.

Design papers are Graphic 45 "The Magic of Oz Collection"
Polka dot paper is Recollection

Die cut used is a TH on the edge called Scrollwork

Pulled out some old Halloween transfers from my stash for the inside.

I will be entering into the following challenges:
Forever Friends Challenge #47 - Halloween
Hooked on Craft Challenge #25 - Halloween
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #142 - Trick or Treat
Eclectic Ellapu Challenge - Halloween  Purple
