Fab'n'Funky Challenge DT Card

Hi everyone,

I hope you're having a good week so far.

We're still in the grips of a cold front that doesn't seem to be shifting anytime soon.

It's been a long time since we've had such a cold, snowy winter as this one.

I'm hosting this week at Fab'n'Funky and our lovely Judith had the brilliant idea to have a Christmas challenge once a month....to help avoid the stress at Christmas and have all our cards ready. I was so on board with this theme because I was really scrambling last year.

We have the fabulous Delicious Doodles sponsoring this week.

I've used Four Calling Birds and went with non-traditional colours.

I'm so sick of all the snow and am really in need of a tropical vacation.....can you tell.

Image coloured with Copics.

Sentiments are cut from Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas 8x8 pad

Tim Holtz Pine Tree and Tattered Pinecone Dies used

Last DT Post for Creative Belli Challenge

Good day everyone,

I hope your week is going well and that you're all ready for Christmas..well almost anyway!

Today is the last post I will be making for the Creative Belli Challenge
Even though I'm sad to see this wonderful challenge come to an end
I fully support our lovely owner Darsie's decision to close the doors.
Being a part of this wonderful team has been very special to me.  It was my very first DT spot.
I was asked to join in May 2012 and couldn't have asked for a better group to work with.
I will miss you all, especially you Darsie but I know I will see everyone in blogland.

I wanted to make something special for this last challenge so choose another image from
Delicious Doodles, part of the 12 days of Christmas series.
This one is called Partridge in a Pear Tree and can be found here.

Once again I used Graphic 45 DP

Coloured with Copics

Silk ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store

Here is a picture of the inside, again using Graphic 45 dp

10 Lords a Leaping

Hi everyone,

What's the weather like where you are?   We had a winter storm blow thru that dumped over 30 cm of snow....looks awfully pretty but the cleaning up is not so much fun.

Thank goodness for our wonderful neighbours who help out when our snow service is a no-show.

Earlier, I promised to show you another card I made using one of Delicious Doodles

12 Days of Christmas series so here is Ten Lords A Leaping that can be found here.

I went with non-traditional colours this time.

6x6 in card

Coloured with Copics

DP - Graphic 45

Silver CS from my stash

Sentiment cut from G45 papers

Ribbon from Michaels

White/brown bead berry stray cluster from WOC

12 Days of Christmas Card

Good day everyone,

  ****************************************************************************

If you're looking for the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog Hop post please scroll down. Thank you!

***************************************************************************

Early morning for me here but wanted to get this card on before I start the marathon of Christmas shopping today.   Off to a Christmas party tonight so have to save some energy.

I absolutely love the 12 days of Christmas series

that Teri of Delicious Doodles created a couple of years ago.

This is the first time I've had the confidence to tackle these amazing images

because I wanted to make sure I could do them justice. I hope I've succeeded.

They work beautifully with Graphic 45 Christmas papers I think.

So far I've created 3 cards from the grouping but will have to wait until after I send out my cards to post...don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Digital image 12 Drummers can be found here

Coloured with Copics.

Sentiment cut from one of the sheets in the G45 pack.

Berries are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Delicious Doodles #65 - Christmas

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes

Card Makin Mamas #77 - Christmas

Creative Corner Challenges - Traditional Christmas

Digi Haven Challenge - Merry Christmas

Pattie's Creations Challenge #81- Christmas
