Snowflakes

Happy Friday everyone,

I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend.

Today starts a new challenge at
Winter Wonderland
where our lovely host Cindy has chosen the theme "Snowflakes

But before I get to my photo...I have to moan a little
...I'm so unhappy with my pictures lately.
Perhaps I need a new camera?
or this 20 year old Canon needs a good cleaning?
not sure which!
The pencil strokes did not show up on this majestic bear's coat
and I was so happy with them! Oh well...looks better IRL.

I coloured this digi image from Tiddly Inks with polychromos.
It is called Ricky Winter Light Wishes.
The background paper is also from Tiddly Inks.
Snowflakes cut using an older ProvoCraft die
Tall trees - MB Magnificent pines
and my old favourite Marianne tree LR0136
Rhinestones from Michaels

We have 2 wonderful sponsors this week so I hope you get
to play along...Christmas projects only.
Visit the challenge blog too for some wonderful inspiration from my team mates,
you'll not be disappointed.

and

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today.
hugs,

A lovely image and I like the background you've created with the trees and snowflakes.

I think your card looks fantastic, Pat, so wintery and fairytale like. Great job!
And a card always looks prettier IRL, the photo is good even though it doesn't show the great detailing.
My visits will be a bit sporadic until start July, so much to prepare before going on holidays:) but glad I didn't miss this one,

I think the winter scene you have made is lovely. The die cut trees and the snowflakes are fab. Sorry to be so late commenting, but thanks so much for playing along with our stash challenge at 52CCT this week! Deborah, DT.

Looks fine to me Pat :-) ... buuuuut, I've just had this EXACT moan on MY blog! The detail just seems to be MIA in my pics, so I do believe your card is magnificent IRL :-)) My camera is a Canon too... it was a very good camera that I got for my 50th, but that WAS over 7 years ago so it could have passed it's use by date, or it needs a service - do they even bother servicing cameras anymore in this era of disposability?
