I hope you've all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend.. It's the beginning of our Thanksgiving Day long weekend here but you wouldn't know it by the weather.....it's absolutely gorgeous out. Beautiful bright sunny day with a high of 20 deg.c expected.....amazing as I can remember having snow on Thanksgiving. This is a lovely change.
I thought I would share with you today a card I made for a very special Cousin's birthday. I've used my new SB "Tapestry" die. The card is an A9 size...(5 1/2" x 8 1/2") the first one I've made and creating the box was a challenge (sorry I forgot to take a pic) but I managed it in the end. I know to make the top 1/16th of an inch larger than the bottom but need a starting point....a little bit of math was needed and after one unsuccessful attempt I managed it in the end...now I just need to find the paper I wrote the dimensions on !!
The paper is SU Whisper White and Sahara Sand. Tag is from LOTV.
Corner dies are from the SB Radiant Rectangles set.
Ribbon is part of a gift from my friend Diana and the flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
