I'm so excited...only 2 more sleeps and I'm off to Naples, Florida with my lovely daughter...can't wait!

 We've researched beaches, restaurants and shopping..so much to see and do so

Winter Blossoms at Winter Wonderland

Hello again,

I'm back with my second post for today.

Today it's the Snowflakes turn to host the  

Winter Wonderland Challenge

where our lovely host Marie has chosen the theme "Winter Blossoms"

I've coloured with copics an image that's been waiting so long to be showcased.

I love this image by Aurora Wings called Christmas Floral available here. 

I roughly followed the colour scheme Mitzi  had shown a glimpse of on her drawing.

Then just added matting and my die cut rose

...a fairly simple design to showcase this beautiful image.

Female Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I'm here today to let you know about the new challenge starting at 

Fussy & Fancy Challenge #162

where our lovely, super talented Theresa has chosen the theme "Female Birthday" 

No colouring for me today...just some lovely die cuts that make for a

very feminine card.  Hope you like it.

Shape cut in cream on my Grand Calibur using GoKreate No 360022 XXL Square Frame Frilly #2

then using the next 2 sizes down cut the pink and patterned layer.

Spellbinder Victorian Medallion Two cut in cream, adding the smaller die from the set

to the center.  Sentiment stamped on pink vellum using VersaMark and then Rangers Seafoam White embossing powder before heat embossing.  Lace, flowers, pearls and ribbon from my stash.

70 cut using QuicKutz die

Pink vellum used on the inside with Spellbinders Victoria Accents, cut in cream

and added to the center.

We are fortunate to have the wonderful Sweet Lilac Flowers

sponsoring us this week and offering a wonderful prize to the winner.

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #301

This cutie is called "Rory Catching Butterflies"

Now I think this is my new favourite colour combo.  I picked up the pale aqua raffia and lace on sale at Michaels and knew I wanted to pare it with pink and white.
 So happy with the outcome...and yes my mojo came back just in time.

The butterflies are a MB die and the edge die cut is a Tim Holtz die

Tons of Flowers @ TPS

Hi everyone,

I hope you're having a good week.

Today starts an exciting new challenge at 

The Paper Shelter

where the theme is "Tons of Flowers" ..yes we want to see lots of flowers.

I've coloured one of the newest digis called "Daisies in Paradise"

This reminded me of the gerber daisies I have growing in pots in the kitchen.

I kind of lost the plot when using the SB Rose creations die but with

a little imagination perhaps they look a little like daisies.

 

Coloured with Copics. DP from Graphic 45 and the leaves were created using

MS fern punch.  The white flowers are from WOC, lace ribbon from Michaels

SB Rose creations die used to created the base of the flowers

Sentiment is a LOTV acrylic stamp

Diamond Stickles added to the mushroom, wings and center of the daisies.

Woodland Friends at The Cutie Pie Challenge

I hope you had a good weekend.

Still feels like winter outside but the weather man tells us it's going to warm up...yeah!

Now I must confess...I've lost my mojo...first I blamed it on my holidays, then I got really sick and

that sure didn't help.  I had a wonderful time when my beautiful sister visited ..but then my

mojo went deep into hiding.    So if you see it...please tell it to come back!  

It's such a chore when it's not around!
