Snowman

Hi everyone, hope all is well.
Brrr....it's been cold the past couple of days with even a dusting of the white stuff.
No complaints here though...we've enjoyed great fall weather up until now.

I had some time to pull out my Copics and colour up this cute snowman
that I was lucky enough to win from Sami Stamps.

A Special Thank You Challenge #152

Hi everyone,
I hope you've had a good week and are looking forward to an even better weekend.

Today starts a new challenge at
where our lovely, talented Lozzy is the host.
She has chosen "Thankful" as the theme this week.

We are sponsored by
&

No colouring on my card today, just die cuts, die cuts and more die cuts
with a bit of lace and pearl detail thrown in.  I've been working with Christmas colours lately so
thought it was time for a little pastels.  I do love pink and cream together.
This is one of those cards that looks so much better in hand.

Since the Spellbinder die I've used is produces a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inch square,
in order to get a coloured panel behind it that showed a border,
I needed to make a 6 1/4 in square card base.
This presented a problem when my cardstock is only12 x 12 in. so I improvised.
 I cut the front piece at 6 1/4 in x 7  1/4 in. and scored the 7 1/4 inch side at 6 1/4.
This left me with a 1 inch tab at the the side where I could attached the back 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 in piece.
I ran the tab thru my Big Shot using SB A2 Scalloped Border, attached a left over strip of pink
cardstock then attached this to the back panel.

Whooo...still with me after all that!  Here is what I used.
Spellbinder Lovin Diamonds Die for the base, attached with pop dots
Spellbinder A2 Tranquil Moments die cut twice and then cut in half
Spellbinder A2 Devine Eloquence die cut added to the center with pop dots
Cream lace on each side then a pearl strip added to the center.
Finished with an organza flower and satin bow.
Sentiment stamped using one of JustRite Christmas Labels Twenty stamps
cut using Spellbinder Labels Thirteen die

A little CAS for Fab'n'Funky Challenge #281

Hi everyone,

I hope you're enjoying the week so far.  It's been very quiet on my blog lately.
I've been busy with not much time to craft but thank goodness for DT requirements,
which brings me to the new challenge starting today at

Our host this week is the lovely Ginny who has chosen "Clean and Simple" as the theme.
We are sponsored by Dr.Digi House of Stamps who generously supplied the DT
with digi's of their choice.  On my card I've used a pre-coloured image called
Saucer Head, available here.

I loved this free sentiment from TLC and thought it would work
perfectly with this creature.  SU certainly celery is the paper used for the frame.

Layers

Hi everyone,
It's time for a new challenge at
and the theme is "Layer on Layer"

My card today features a new digi called Autumn Enchantment found here in the shop.

I've coloured her using Copics.  My favourite tree in the fall is the Red Maple. The leaves
turn to a wonderful burgundy colour and this is what I was going for when colouring
her dress.  The leaves were cut from a piece of DP and some were cut with sizzix dies.

As always there is a wonderful prize for the winner this week.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today and if you get a chance, please stop by the
blog and see the beautiful inspiration from my team mates.
