50Th Wedding Anniversary

Hi everyone,  There's a new challenge starting today at the Belli Challenge and the theme is Numbers.

I've used SB Grand Labels One dies along with Grand Decorative Labels One to create this card.
The inside elements are SB Marvelous Squares and the sentiment was created in Word.

For the inside, I embossed the Marvelous squares on gold mirror card that was cut using Grand Labels One.
Sentiment obtained from the net and printed in word before cutting, again with SB Marvelous squares.
I made a pocket in some old vellum to insert a gift card.
The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Bow was made with seam binding from my stash.

Really a very simple card to make- there is no colouring....just a lot of cutting and embossing and again it looks better irl   As this was a commissioned card, I blurred the names.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
  1. 2 sisters Challenge #158 - Square
  2. Make it Monday #155
  3. Created with Love Challenge #55 - Anything Goes
  4. Victorine Stamps Challenge #66  - Love
  5. Oldie but a Goodie Challenge - Embossing
  6. A Gem of a Challenge #94- "B"for bow
  7. Sister Act Card Challenge #21 - Anything Goes
Thank you so much for stopping by and your lovely comments are always appreciated.

Pink hearts

Good day everyone.   Yeah...it's Friday and that means a new challenge at
Totally Papercrafts
The theme for Challenge #181 is "Tag & Hearts"

For today's card I've used one of my favourite Magnolia stamps from an older collection called "Tilda with Hearts".  I tried the "no lines" colouring technique but was not very successful I'm afraid....I ended up with lines...huh!   I think I went wrong with my selection of ink colour.  I used Memento London Fog - perhaps a little too dark... but I am  happy with the results.   I'll have to check out the experts to see how to do it properly next time.

The heart tag is a Magnolia die and the sentiment is from SU.   Heart doily is from my stash and the new orchid flowers and cosmo daisies are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Heart stick pins are from my stash as well.   Diamond dust was added to a second pair of wings, affixed with dimensionals.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia #76 - Punches or dies

We'd love it if you playing along with us this week at TPC
and please check out the fabulous inspiration from the DT.
Have a great weekend!

Stickers

Hi everyone!   I hope your week is going well so far?  It's very quiet around our house as our darling granddaughters have gone home.  We had a wonderful time with them and I miss them already.
Tomorrow I'm off to visit an out of town craft store with a friend, list in hand.

Today starts a new challenge at Fab'n'Funky.

Our lovely Ciska has chosen a fun theme "You can stick it".
Our fabulous sponsor this week is

Bugaboo Stamps

Here is my card share for this challenge.  I really liked this beautiful image and wanted to try something different with it. Unfortunately this is one of those cards that look soooo much better IRL.  Not sure if it's the dimensions or just my lighting.
If you can, please check out the lovely creations made by my teammates - you are sure to be inspired.

I dug thru my stash and was able to find these fabulous BasicGrey chip stickers .
The pattern is Ambrosia...another one I've been hoarding!
I  printed a digi from Bugaboo called Silhouette, Elephant Paisley, cut it into a circle then coloured it with Copics.  I then added Utee, heat embossed it to give it a shiny appearance.
Once it was dry I mounted it onto the large BG chip sticker that had been distressed on the edges with TH distress ink in black soot.
The plain black circle was cut using SB Grand Nest. Circles and the orange scallop circle is made using SB Grand Decorative Circles One die.
Black gems are from my stash, as well as the black satin ribbon.
I used another sticker from the same collection on the top right corner.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
IDIC Challenge #173 - Put a frame around it

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone, Welcome to another blog post, this time for

Our host this week is the lovely Jackie who has chosen the theme
"Anything that looks like Summer"

We are so excited to have the fabulous Lacy Sunshine as our sponsor this week.
I'm a fan of Heather's work and just couldn't wait to colour up this cutie.
She is called "Molly Big Catch"and today her trophy is a sunfish.
I couldn't give her the traditional olive coloured hip waders as she's a girly girl!
