Summer at the Lake - no card

Hi blogging friends,

Just a quick post today.   I'm so excited.....I've reached 100 followers.  Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to follow my blog.  You are all the best and I'm so happy I started this journey as it has allowed me to meet some very wonderful, talented crafters.

I don't have a card today but thought you might like to see how some guys spend summer at the cottage.     Here we have our grand-dog.....Hamlet.   Now as you see, Hamlet is a water boarder.....yep, he loves to ride on the boogie board!  Better than being left behind on shore, that's for sure.  Not too much of a swimmer though - best to wear the life jacket just in case.

Then we have Tegan, a bull mastif. She is Hamlets big sister and loves to give hugs. In this photo she is trying to convince our DIL to go thru her training routine with her...pleeeeease!  Tegan has her CD title and our DIL runs her own business specializing in companion dog training.

And last, we have a picture of our dog in the backyard.   This old girl gave us quite a scare yesterday.  We had a trip to the Emergency Animal Clinic.  Yeah...big bucks but we needed to get her comfortable as soon as possible.  I'm happy to report she is much better today!    The senior years are not always fun.   My husband and I have been very fortunate to have some wonderful dogs but this one is by far the best ...and most likely will be our last. No other will ever compare.

Thank so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the photos.   Hugs, Pat K.

Love the photos. Glad to hear that your "baby" is doing alright. I know what it is like, since our critters are such an extension of our family.

Hi Pat, Many congratulations on reaching 100 followers. Your work is lovely and a delight to look at so I am not surprised your following is growing. Fabulous dogs, lovely pictures. I remember well the senior years with animals but so worth it for the love you receive in return.

Congrats on your 100!! Thanks for sharing these great photos, 's funny... we've got a "grand dog" too, lol... and our "current" dog will be our last, his predecessor was with us for 15 years 2 months and 2 days and it hurt so much when he went, I didn't think we could love another one like that.... but we do, he's such a sweetie and I KNOW we can't be that lucky for a third time! Donna ♥☺
