Mo's Digital Pencil - Facebook

Good day,
Hope everyone had a great weekend.   We celebrated Allie's birthday and I gave her the Kenny K. biker girl card.  I added a banner that read #1 Sons Fan which she loved.

This easle card is to showcase the Work at Home Moms, our daughter being one of them.   It is not uncommon for her to start her day when the rest of the house is sound asleep.

I used Spellbinder Grand Nestabilities Label One for the base and Spellbinder Fancy Tags Two for the label.   The image was coloured with copics.  I used Bow Easy to create the bow...tied 2 and joined them together.  The lace was given to me by my friend Helen.

Kenny K - Biker Girl

Hello again,
What a lovely week this has been so far.  My girlfriends and I went to my favourite restaurant Cucci for lunch yesterday to celebrate my birthday....again, I know!   This was my last one for this year and we did it up big!  We ladies can chat for 3 hrs....and manage to eat 3 courses as well....we're good!

I have a birthday card today using Kenny K's digital stamp called Biker Girl.   DP was from Echo Park 6x6 pad "Yours Truly".  I used Spellbinders Label 1 to cut the tab and wordart for the printing.  Spellbinders "sprightly sprockets" and another one for the embossed corner.  Coloured with copics, highlighted metal on the bike with Gelly Roll by Sakura.  Bling is from the dollar store.

MFT - Karate Girl

Good day,
I've finished a card this morning for my oldest granddaughter, who will be trying for her yellow belt in Karate next Saturday.

I used an MFT stamp called Karate Girl and coloured her with copics.  Design paper is Origins from Basic Grey and the flower I made using Die-namics die called "Rolled Daisy".  I tied a knot in twine and put it in the center of the flower.

Whiff of Joy - Blue Bird

Hello,
It's been a few days since I posted.  I was too busy celebrating my birthday (lol). Thanks to everyone for making this one special.

Now I'm going to vent a little here.  I had to have my drivers license renewed this year.  No problem until I get it in the mail and see my picture!   There is no way it is me in that photo!  Do they do re-takes?     I know they adjusted the photo....they removed any makeup I had on, puffed out my face, and made me shut my mouth!  To make it worse, the colour is a greenish grey to match the license. It cost me $75. and I have to look at it for 5 years. .....to the back of my wallet it goes and hopefully will never come out...just so you know!

phew...glad I got that off my chest!  Here is my card tonight with a different take on Whiff of Joy stamp called "for my tweetheart".

Coloured with Copics
Paper:  SU barely banana and ballet blue
SU leaf die
Flowers from Wild Orchid

C.Y.D.I. - KiniArt Dog

Happy Super Bowl Sunday :)

I've a Valentine card for you today made with a very cute C.Y.D.I. digi called KiniArt Dog.      The base is cut with a Spellbinders Grand Caliber scallop die and the outside grey and white circles were cut with the Grand Caliber circles.  The inside grey is a Spellbinders Large Circle die, with largest of the Heart Circle in the centre.    The ribbon was a white seam binding that I coloured with SU Real Red reinker.  I put a few drops of reinker on my Tim Holtz mat, sprayed a small amount of water on the mat and just moved the ribbon around to absorb the colour. ( It's best to wear gloves when you do this step.)

I've entered this card into Tuesday Throwdown Challenge.

Copics:  C05, C03, C01, C00

This card fits nicely in a 6x6 envelope.  TFL, Hugs, Pat

Tickled Pink - Ice Skater Sookie

Good day,

I'm going to enter today's card into a couple of challenges.  Yes, I think I've finally got it.....posted 2 cards this week and didn't annoy Mr. Linky.    Phew !!   When my friends finally decide to do the blog thing, I'll be able to help them since I've grown a few brain cells these last few months... it was painful at times let me tell ya!

This digital is from Tickled Pink Stamps and is called "Ice Skater Sookie".
The stars were made with Sizzix Originals Stars #2 and the plastic ones are from my stash  (can't remember from where...most likely Michaels, on sale.)    The swirl is a Die-Namics die from MFT Stamps.    Using up some of my SU paper stash - this is elegant eggplant and baja breeze.  Plaid is from DCWV "Nana's Kitchen".    Used just a little cheesecloth to soften the look.

CYDI - Harry Potter (who went to a different school )...

Good Morning all,
This is one of the first purchases I made at CYDI.   I loved this drawing called the Wizard and think it's so Harry Potter!    I went with olive and rust instead of the usual navy/maroon and am happy with the outcome.

He was coloured with copics and  I basket weaved strips of paper to add texture.

I'm going to attempt to add this to the Challenge at CYDI today.

Enjoy your day and TFL.   Hugs, Pat
