Something a little different....

Hi everyone,

It's been almost a week since my last post. I was reminded of this by a sweet friend who emailed me to see if I was alright, which I am....just busy with life and enjoying the beautiful summer weather.

Now because it is the last Wednesday of the month it's
Christmas
at

hosted by the lovely Chris and sponsored by the fabulous

Each of us on the DT were given the choice of a digi in the shop and  my selection was
 "Elf Pocket" available here
I thought it would be fun to try something new...a shirt card.
A little planning ahead would have helped me as I printed and coloured the image first
then decided to google how to make the card.  It turns out all the instructions
are for smaller size cards and since I was so happy with my little elf as he was,
I just made a shirt for the front.
I added a panel under the buttons and stitched the sides - difficult to see with
that busy pattern though.

The design paper, which has a lovely gloss to it, was free in an old edition of Scrapbooking Magazine
Bells are from my stash as well as the ribbon, twine and button brads.
Sentiment is a LOTV stamp.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get a chance to join us this
week....it's never too early to start on those Christmas cards.
hugs,
