**** Christmas at Sweet Stampin ****

 Good morning folks,

Hope everyone is well.  Scary stuff going on with the threat of this new variant.   Our daughter had her booster shot Thursday night and has been very ill. I feel for her as she is immune compromised and on doctors instruction received it earlier that the 6 mo. wait.   Hopefully it just means the drug is doing what it's supposed to.

where our lovely, talented Chris has chosen the theme "Anything Christmas"

My card features a no line version of Amaryllis digital stamp from PowerPoppy,  coloured with copics and a little bit of polychromo pencils.  The frame is my new picot petite squares from Spellbinders. Sentiment is StampinUp, stamped and then heat embossed using gold embossing powder.

*** Birthday at Sweet Stampin ***

 Good morning everyone,  I hope your weekend is going well.  We have been dog sitting our handsome Banksy.  He is such a friendly, clever boy that sure keeps us on our toes.

Today starts a new challenge at Sweet Stampin where we are celebrating our 12th Birthday.

I have stamped a cute little kitty from MFT Stamps, coloured with Copics and added some Diamond Stickles for sparkle.  The background is a SU stamp in Distressed Oxide Flamingo Pink. Sentiment - MFT Stamps as well as the black and white strip. MB Wrapped Stitch Rectangles make the border.

 Hello everyone,

I'm here to tell you about our new fortnightly challenge at

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #540

where our lovely team mate Pat has chosen the theme 

"Check it Out"

so show us your checks, plaids and/or tartans.

No colouring for me today just some fun time with my new dies from Memory Box
This is not a usual colour combo for Christmas but really is on trend this year and I quite like it.
I am a fan of MacKenzie Childs pottery and this reminds me of their Courtly Check.
I pulled out my much loved G45 papers and found this wonderful black and cream check and knew I had to cut into it.  The little acorn is new from MB..a little pesky to assemble but well worth the effort I think.  I also have the larger acorn die set that I will show sometime later this month.  Once again I have used the Stampin-Up sweater embossing folder on the background.

*** Card of many Layers **

Hello folks,

I hope you are all well.

Today starts a new challenge at

Sweet Stampin Challenge

where we would like to see Lots of Layers on your Creations

I have coloured with Copics a digital image from Mariola Budek called She Wolf
I do like these stunning drawings and find them very easy to colour as the shading is already done for you. Card base is white, with layers using kraft cardstock then a matted silver.  The frame is a Spellbinder oldie, cut in kraft on top of which I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a layer in silver.  The image was cut using a smaller stitched rectangular die.  Sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set, stamped with Black Memento Ink.
