Springtime

Hi everyone!!  I've a card to show you that I made just for fun tonight.  The current challenge at Saturated Canary is for Emerald and I was inspired by the beautiful picture when selecting my colours.  The digi I've used is called The Season, Springtime and is coloured with Copics. I know my youngest granddaughter is going to love this one....the flowing hair is always a favourite.

I used Memory Box Grand Oak Tree and added some bling.  Word is an old Sizzix die called In Bloom.  Cuttlebug Forest Branches embossing folder and Spellbinders Grand Oval dies.

I will be entering the following challenges as well:
Alphabet Challenge:  G for Glitter or Gems
Crafting Musketeers - 1st Challenge

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
hugs,
Pat K x

This is a wonderful card, Pat, there are so many things I like about it. The SC image is beautifully colored and I think you've chosen such a great layout for it, with the die cut tree with gems and the torn strip of paper to make the ground. Gorgeous!

Pat, I LOVE your beautiful card. The first thing which caught my eye is the purple tree die cut. It looks marvelous in that shade of purple with all those pretty gems. Beautiful coloring and shading in your image - but I marvel at the two main colors. Such a great selection of colors within the family. A truly beautiful card! Pat, your granddaughter will be so happy with this card. She will save it for sure. hugs, de
